Ban Amphur Beach, Sattahip, Chonburi
Ban Amphur Beach is located at Moo 3, Soi Najomtien 32, Sukhumvit Road, Najomtien Subdistrict, Sattahip District, Chonburi Province. The way of life for the local villagers here revolves around fishing, small community shops, and seafood restaurants.
The distinctive feature of Ban Amphur Beach is that it is a beach connected to Jomtien Beach, extending southward. The beach is approximately 900 meters long and is located about 5 kilometers from Pattaya. It is under the management of the Najomtien Subdistrict Municipality. The seawater is clear, and there are seafood restaurants along the beach to cater to tourists. Additionally, there is a public park for relaxation or exercise.
The atmosphere at Ban Amphur Beach is quite peaceful, with minimal traffic congestion. This is because the beach is accessed by traveling approximately 200 meters from Sukhumvit Road. As a result, it is a popular spot for foreigners who enjoy sunbathing, as well as locals from nearby areas who come to relax with their families on weekends.
Common water activities here include fishing and kayaking, as there are rock barriers along the shore to break the wind and buoys that allow tourists to walk about 200 meters into the sea.
The most beautiful time at Ban Amphur Beach is during sunset when both locals and tourists often spread mats on the sand to enjoy the stunning scenery.

Personal Experience
As the writer, I have visited Ban Amphur Beach several times because it is not far from where I live. Ban Amphur Beach is a quiet and serene beach with clear water. Most visitors are locals from nearby areas, including students and families who come to watch the sunset or spend holidays here. Foreigners often come to sunbathe, as there are food options and restrooms available. The parking area is spacious, and many locals bring their pets for walks or to swim in the sea.
On weekends, public holidays, or during festivals, the beach can get quite crowded. However, on weekdays, it is much quieter.
If you are looking for a peaceful, uncrowded beach that retains its natural charm, Ban Amphur Beach is a destination you should not miss.
