However, having a professional inspector or engineer review the property before the ownership transfer is crucial. For instance, I once experienced issues where the sink in the bathroom lacked a trap, causing unpleasant odors from the waste tank to rise directly into the bathroom. On another occasion, I had a problem with numerous black insects infesting the bathroom, despite keeping the house closed. The issue turned out to be poorly applied sealant around the toilet, allowing insects from the cesspool to escape through gaps.

From these experiences, I realize that in the real estate business—especially when dealing with houses and condos—having an engineer inspect the property before the transaction is essential. This ensures that buyers can be confident that they are getting a quality, valuable property that truly meets their expectations.
