How to Apply for a Re-Entry Permit
The requirement for foreign nationals holding a Non-O long-stay visa who wish to temporarily leave Thailand and return without invalidating their visa. Thai visas are generally single-entry, meaning if you leave the country without a re-entry permit, your visa becomes void immediately. This permit helps you maintain your visa status while traveling.

Required Documents Application:
- Foreigner’s passport with current immigration entry stamp
- Extension of stay stamp (if applicable)
- Departure Card TM.6 (if available)
- Completed TM.8 form
- One recent 4×6 cm photo (white background, facing forward)
Important Notes:
- An immigration officer will stamp in your passport.
- The official term in Thai is “Permission to Re-enter the Kingdom.”
- The TM.8 form can be downloaded from www.immigration.go.th.
Where to Apply:
At the Immigration Office in the area where the foreigner is residing.
